The National Research University - Higher School of Economics first in Russian Federation to educate sociologists of the innovative digital generation, this Program prepares experts with the skills they need for gathering and processing data using the most up-to-date technology and methodology. The Program contains not only general and specific sociological and humanities topics, but also the contents from mathematics and computer science, giving students the chance to become skillful in programming and information systems.
Students study statistical approaches, Data Science and data imagining (R, Gephi, SPSS, Python), use of digital data and technologies. Ways in the humanities, social sciences, and other areas help undergraduates to develop skills in critical thinking and sociological research methodology.
Eligibility Criteria : The student should have strong high school educational record and good subject command in Mathematics and English.
The student would have to appear in the university online selection test for the confirmation of his admission.
