This course delves into fundamental concepts of modern political science within a historical framework. Topics include power dynamics, political elites and leaders, political systems, democracy, elections, and civil society. Emphasis is placed on Russia, providing special attention to its political landscape. The primary objectives involve teaching students to articulate their perspectives, both orally and in writing, in Russian. This includes describing and analyzing past and current political processes in Russia.
